We are Veronica and Gian Domenico, wedding photographers. B-Side Photographers is the project we created together for destination weddings in Morocco. We live in Italy, and every year we move to Morocco for a few months, travelling between Marrakech and Essaouira.
We photograph weddings in Marrakech, in the Agafay Desert, in Essaouira and across Morocco, for couples from all over the world. In Italy we work mostly in Tuscany and around Lake Como, and we also photograph weddings across Europe and worldwide.
Our style sits between documentary and editorial photography. We call it loose editorial: we let the day unfold naturally, while paying attention to composition, light, gestures and details. Alongside the spontaneous moments, we create portraits with an editorial eye, simple and timeless.
We shoot both digital and analogue film. We love film for its slightly vintage look and the small imperfections that make every image unique, and we choose the medium that best tells the atmosphere of each moment.
B-Side is a shared vision. Depending on the wedding, one of us or both of us will be there, always with the same eye and the same care.
Wedding photography is not about making a day look perfect. It is about preserving the way you actually lived it.

Where do you photograph weddings in Morocco?
In Marrakech: in the riads of the medina, in palaces and in the best-loved venues such as La Mamounia, Royal Mansour, Amanjena, Palais Namaskar, Fairmont Royal Palm, Selman Marrakech, Beldi Country Club and Jnane Tamsna. In the Agafay Desert, for example at Scarabeo Camp, in the Atlas Mountains at Kasbah Tamadot, and in Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. We live in Italy and spend a few months every year between Marrakech and Essaouira, so we know these places and their light well.
What is your photography style?
Loose editorial, between documentary and editorial photography: real, spontaneous moments together with portraits that are composed but natural.
Do you shoot film?
Yes. We work in digital and in analogue film, because we love its slightly vintage look and the imperfections that make a photo feel alive and one of a kind.
Do you photograph weddings outside Morocco?
Yes. We photograph weddings in Italy, especially in Tuscany and around Lake Como, and we are happy to travel worldwide.

Do you photograph multi-day weddings?
Yes, and for a destination wedding it is often the most sensible choice. When guests travel from far away, the celebration usually lasts several days: welcome dinner, henna night or pool party, ceremony and the brunch the day after. Being there from the start lets us tell the whole journey, not only the "I do", and get to know you before the big day, so you feel at ease in front of the camera and the photos are more genuine.
